Various accessories can be added to the rented car - typically a child seat, winter chains, roof rack, portable refrigerator, etc. CarBooker allows defining any number of accessories with a localized description, photo, price and VAT rate.

Setting the price of an accessory

The price can be set either by default for 1 day of rental or as flat rate (meaning a one-time fee for the entire rental period). To provide the accessory for free, a zero amount needs to be filled in the price field.

Transport services

A special case of "accessory" is so-called transfer services offered by some car rental companies. This could be, for example, transporting the client to the airport at the end of the car rental.

Setting up VAT rate

Individual VAT rates can be set for each accessory - foe example transfer sevices might apply different tax rate than VAT rate for renting roof rack.

Invoicing

Ordered accessories will appear as separate items on the invoice - even if set with a zero price.
