The list of vehicles can be searched using basic or advanced filter. The extended filter allows searching for a car by almost any parameter - e.g. insurance validity, owner, chasis number or VIN.

In the main vehicle settings, administrator can create and edit various aspects of the rented cars - technical, business, insurance and search parameters. These include in particular:

Car description

They are important for web robots - the more unique text with well-chosen keywords, the better ranking in search engines and consequently more customers and successful conversions. Both the standard vehicle description and the SEO-optimised description with SEO keywords and possible translations are filled in.

SEO URL link

A unique and SEO optimized URL link must be created for each car. Ideally, it should contain keywords which would use common internet user to search for the car - such as make and type of car. If you leave the field blank while creating a vehicle, URL link will be created from car's name.

Availability

An availability can be set for each car individually, or it can be timely restricted - such as when in service. A car will not show up in search results neither offered for rent outside specified dates.

Category

An administrator can assign the vehicle to desired category, or create a new category.

Office

If the site owner runs multiple offices in various cities, the vehicle can be assigned to a specific office.

Extern owner

If you rent the vehicle in cooperation with an external partner, you can set the given partner. It may come handy e.g. if you need to calculate partner provision and you need to identify his car rentals.

Seasonal discount

A promotional or seasonal discount can be set for each car - e.g. 15%. Such a discount will also show on the car lookup page - so site visitors can also sort cars by discounted percentage.

Deposit

The sum of deposit is transferred to Car Rental Contract. If it is not set, the general deposit amount from Settings will be set. Set zero into the field, if no deposit should apply.

Free kilometers

Here you can enter the daily free kilometers for the vehicle. The data is transferred to related documents - e.g. Car rent contract.

Vehicle technical data

For the purpose of insurance documents, you can register typical parameters for the vehicle - e.g. chasis number, VIN, vehicle price, etc.

Validity of car papers and insurance

In connection with the calendar, you can get a daily overview of the expiring validity of the car papers - ie. validity of the MOT/EC, the legal or casco insurance and the validity of the highway stamp.

These include setting various technical parameters - e.g. number of seats, power, luggage compartment volume, etc. A representative icon (selected from the list), sorting order and importance can be set for each car property. These properties may display differently - depending on the particular template selected. For example, when displaying a list of vehicle features as a list of icons (images), the features that are marked as "important" will display first.

An unlimited number of photos can be uploaded to each car. These are automatically optimized during the upload to ensure optimal image size and page load speed.
